Scientists have warned the residents in the village of Akneset that another tsunami could happen at any time. It’s happening now. The village is directly in the path of a 85 meter (279 feet) high wave triggered by a rock slide. A geologist and his young daughter are caught in the middle of the of the chaos. The two are trying to escape the danger zone, along with everyone in the village before it’s to late.
The Wave was directed by Roar Uthaug and stars Kristoffer Joner, Ane Dahl Torp, Thomas Bo Larsen, Fridtjov Saheim, Jonas Hoff Oftebro, Afrthur Berning, Edith Haagenrud-Sande, Lado Hadzic, Eili Harboe and Herman Bernhoft.
The Wave has already been released in Norway and will be released in the U.S. on March 4th via Magnolia Productions. A new clip has just arrived in the US and it gives us a taste at the disaster as it begins.
