Ray Stevenson of the Divergent franchise has been cast along with David Oaks (The Borgias) in the psychological thriller Cold Skin directed by Xavier Gens (Hitman, Crusifixion), Variety reports.
Cold Skin, which has begun production in Spain, is based on the best-selling novel by the same name from Albert Sanchez Pinol. The film begins with a young man traveling to a remote island on the edge of the Antarctic Circle to relieve a weather observer stationed alone at the base. When he arrives he finds a deranged castaway who has witnessed a horror he refuses to name.
Kinology will co-produce along side Babieka Films. Early footage will be unveiled at next month’s Cannes Festival.
