Continuing with the trend of adaptions, New Line Cinema has set in motion the film adaption of Swedish author Camilla Grebe’s bestselling 2015 novel The Ice Beneath Her, a head of the book’s December debuts here in the U.S. American Sniper’s Andrew Lazar is attached to produce, according to Deadline.
The Ice Beneath Her centers on a psychological profiler and an investigator working together to solve the case of a young woman found beheaded in the home of a prominent business man.
There is no word yet who might be cast in the psychological thriller. We will give an update when we know more.
