The second season of Ash VS. Evil Dead is approaching (thankfully). Earlier today STARZ released the Red Band trailer for Ash vs Evil Dead, which was labeled too graphic to show at San Diego Comic Con. Not only do we get a new trailer, we also got a brand new poster!
Bruce Campbell gives life to Ash, the charismatic, one-handed badass, in the TV adaption of 1981’s cult classic, The Evil Dead.
The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There he confronts Ruby, and the former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.
Not only will Ash’s father (Lee Majors) and his childhood friend (Ted Raimi) come back into the picture, his high school sweetheart will also be coming back into his life (Michelle Hurd), playing a big role in the upcoming season. On top of the past coming back to haunt him Ash, Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo (Ray Santiago) are still coping with the events of last season, which left Ruby (Lucy Lawless) in control of the necronomicon and the power to unleash hell on the world.
The series, written by Michael J. Bassett and Sean Clements, will return to STARZ this October.
