Alex Proya’s 1994 film The Crow is cherished among many film fans. There has been numerous attempts from Relativity to bring about a reboot/remake for years with different directors and actors. Now, it seems a reboot might actually be happening under Corin Hardy’s direction.
If you are wondering who they may be casting as Eric Draven, the lead character, we can answer that. None-other than Aquaman (Justice League) himself, Jason Momoa is in talks to star. You might also recognize Momoa from the hit series Game of Thrones.
Momoa posted a photo on his Instagram account a couple of days ago of him and Hardy shaking hands over beer. The post had several interesting hashtags, including #sealthedeal #greatnewstocome and #dreamjob. The Crow is the only film Hardy is currently casting, according to Mashable.
The Crow follows Eric Draven, who returns from the dead to seek revenge for his and his fiancee’s murders at the hands of a gang. Draven paints his face white with a black smile and sets out killing the murderers one-by-one with the aid of a crow that gives him abilities. Draven was played by Brandon Lee, who died from an accident he had on set during filming.
