
After years waiting, the sequel to 2008’s home invasion thriller The Strangers, is finally on the way from 47 Meters Down and The Other Side of the Door director Johannes Roberts who will direct from the script penned by Bertino and Ben Ketai.
Set to begin filming May 30th in LA, The Strangers 2 has announced the first cast members. Emmy-nominated actress Christina Hendricks will star alongside Bailee Madison (Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark) and Lewis Pullman (Aftermath).
The film follows a family who arrive at a secluded mobile home park. After the power goes out they decide to hunker down for the night in a borrowed trailer. Under the cover of darkness three familiar masked psychopaths pay them a visit and test their every limit.

Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones, and Mark Lane and James Harris who were behind I AM Not A Serial Killer, will be producing.
