Brady Hall’s 7 Witches, starring Persephone Apostolou, Danika Golombek, Megan Hensley and Mike Jones, will be landing on Video On Demand and DVD this May. The film, centers on a couple who are in the wrong place at the wrong time and find themselves at the mercy of a coven of witches. From the Press Release: West Hollywood, California – Indican Pictures has teamed with director Brady Hall, to bring audiences 7 Witches. Shot near Seattle, Washington, the film is based on an ancient legend, in which a curse haunts the land. The film centrally stars: Persephone Apostolou, Danika Golombek, Megan Hensley and Mike Jones. In the story, Cate and Cody are set to be wed. But, they have chosen the wrong spot and time. In this rural town, a coven of witches are set to bring a 100 year curse to fruition. Get Out Director Jordan Peele Signs Deal With Universal For Next Film

With the success of Jordan Peele’s genre debut feature Get Out, it was no surprise that he stated back in March that he announced he has plans for a series of social thrillers. THR is reporting that Peele has signed a two-year, first-look deal with Universal. As part of that deal, Universal has snagged the rights to Peele’s next project which he will write, direct and produce. Part of the deal calls for Peele to produce a range of projects, a key part of the agreement is for him to produce small budget films which will reunite Peele with Blumhouse’s Jason Blum with the goal of giving a voice to indie filmmakers. I am thrilled to continue the work we started together on Get Out – pushing the boundaries of storytelling, not only on the film but with all of Monkeypaw’s future projects.” Peele said. Geoff Harmer Announces Proof Of Concept For Creature Feature DEAD AIR

Award-winning director Geoff Harmer’s short horror film Selfie is still making its rounds at film festivals will soon be joined by his next project, a female-driven horror-comedy he has just announced, titled Dead Air, written by award-winning filmmaker Peter Hearn (Scrawl). The short film will be used as a shop window for the feature film version of the movie. The film “follows an all-female punk rock band who end up on a flight with some nasty little creatures at 30000 feet. On The Anniversary Of Serial Killer H. H. Holmes’ Death They Are Digging Him Up

One of the most notorious serial killers to ever walk the streets of America was Herman Webster Mudgett, but you know him as Henry H. Holmes. Born on May 16, 1861, H. H. Holmes built a grand hotel, often referred to as “The Murder Castle”, which operated during the World’s Fair. The hotel was built and designed with murder in mind. The hotel had hidden body shoots, and rooms that appeared normal, but were actually gas chambers. There was even a crematorium built into the basement so that he could dispose of bodies and evidence. Holmes would kill guests, clean and bleach their bones, then sell their skeletons to medical schools and doctors. When police began to investigate the missing people, last seen checking into the hotel, Holmes fled. The hotel was then burned to the ground thanks to an unknown arsonist. THE CROW Will Be Rated “R”

It has been a while since we have heard an update on the remake of the beloved 1994 film The Crow, being directed by Corin Hardy. Last we heard Aquaman/Game of Thrones actor Jason Mamoa was in talks to play the role of the film’s lead character, Eric Draven. Momoa has posted on social media in the recent past hinting that he will in deed play the part. So far, no formal announcement has been made about the role. Recently, Forbes spoke with executive producer F. Javier Gutiérrez (Rings) about what the rating will be for the film and what type of budget it will have. During the interview, Gutiérrez revealed that not only will film get an R-rated film and a $40 million dollar budget, but that The Crow’s creator James O’Barr will be involved with the project. If today is Wednesday, that can mean only one thing my Little Monsters…well, it can mean other things too. But you all know what I’m getting at; it’s that day when we shed a little light on yet another wonderful Woman of Horror. And as you have already seen today our lucky lady (or are we the lucky ones, huh, huh?) is Caroline Williams. Caroline is a product of Texas, and was born in Rusk County on the Eastern side of the state. Her first part, albeit a small one, was as a pageant contestant in Michael Ritchie’s satirical pageant comedy from 1975, Smile. But it would be a full ten years before Caroline would return to the big screen, co-starring alongside Ed Harris and Amy Madigan in the film, Alamo Bay. Production began today in Atlanta on New Line’s adaption of Midway’s video game, ‘Rampage’. Not only has the synopsis been released, the first photo from the set has been unleashed by star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson via his Instagram account. In our story we have three animals (gorilla, crocodile and a wolf) who fall victim to evil genetic editing, rapidly changing every strand of their DNA so they grow, evolve and mutate. Everything becomes amplified.. their size, strength, speed, agility.. and violent aggression. One of the animals infected – a rare Albino gorilla named, George, is my best friend. Yesterday, the first two teaser trailers were released for Nikolaj Arcel’s highly-anticipated adaption of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. Today, the first full trailer here and it is everything we had hoped for. The films follows Gunslinger Roland Deschain, played by Idris Elba, roams the world in search of the dark tower, with the hope he might be able to save his dying world. The “Man in Black” (Matthew McConaughey), has decimated Mid-World and destroyed everyone Roland ever loved and he’s searching for Jake Chambers (Tom Taylor), who possesses a powerful psychic ability referred to as “The Shine”. The boy’s dreams are filled with horrible sights, a dark man, a tall tower and doorways to different worlds. If Roland can protect the boy, he will earn back his self-respect. Movie Review: DEEP IN THE WOOD There Lies A Deeper, Darker Secret

In an Alpine Valley town of Northern Italy there is a yearly festival held on December 5th. Many of the townsfolk take to the streets, disguised as a mythical (?) demonic creature known as Krampus. According to legend, the real Krampus walks hidden among them during this annual brouhaha, with the intent of stealing away with naughty and disobedient children. Throughout the years many children have vanished with no trace, and have never been seen or heard from again.
