The first trailer for House by the Lake, from director Adam Gierasch (Fractured, Night of the Demos, Tales of Halloween), has arrived, revealing a monster that has a serious Creature from the Black Lagoon vibe.
Written by Josh Burnell (Boone the Bounty Hunter), the film centers on the Morgans, “a loving yet troubled family hoping to reconnect on a vacation. When their autistic 10-year-old daughter (Amiah Miller) begins to fixate on a mysterious friend who may or may not be real, she retreats further into her own world and family tensions rise to the surface.”
Shot in Big Bear Lake, California, the cast of House by the Lake includes James Callis (Battlesta Galactica), Anne Dudek (Mad Men), Miller (Clementine) and Breaking Bad actor Michael Bowen. Anvil Entertainment’s Mike De Trana, Gary King, and Jace Anderson produced.
