Since Leatherface was first announced back in 2015, fans have been eagerly awaiting the film. We shared the first images from the prequel last year. Now, we have a new batch of images to share with you along with an update, including a release date.
The film centers on Leatherface as a teen as he escapes from a mental hospital along with three other patients. After kidnapping a nurse, he takes her on a road trip from Hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge. One of these teens are destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface.
Directed by Alezandre Bustillo, Letahterface stars Stephen Dorff, Lili Taylor, Nicole Andrews, Sam Strike, Julian Kostov, and Sam Coleman.
Leatherface will arrive in theaters just in time for Halloween, on October 20, 2017. DirecTV subscribes will be able to see the film ahead of it’s theatrical release on September 21st.
