From writer-director Mark Atkins and The Asylum comes Empire of the Sharks, the tale of woman fighting to save her people from a warlord and his army of deadly sharks. We have an exclusive batch of images and concept art to share with you (below).
In the film, set in the future, most of Earth is covered by water. The only land left is controlled by a lone warlord and his army of ever-vigilant, hyper-intelligent sharks. The humans are forced to pay tribute to the warlord, and the unlucky ones are caged up and kept as food for the shark army. But when two friends risk their lives to rescue a trapped prisoner, those imprisoned decide to rise against their captor and his legion of bloodthirsty sharks.
The action-filled film stars John Savage, Jonathan Pienaar, Tauriq Jenkins, and Tshamanon Sebe. David Michael Latt, David Rimawi, and Paul Bales produced.
This Saturday, August 5th, Empire of the Sharks will make its debut on the Syfy channel. Following its TV premiere os Syfy, Empire of the Sharks will arrive on VOD and DVD on September 5, 2017. Check out the exclusive concept art and exclusive stills below.
