Back in August, we learned that Adam Green had secretly shot the fourth film of the Hatchet franchise, titled Victor Crowley. The big question is when will fans get to see the film? Dark Sky Films announced on Twitter earlier today that the film will get a 2018 release. They also stated that the date and poster will be revealed soon.

Both Kane Hodder and Parry Shen will reprise their roles with Laura Ortiz, Felissa Rose, Dave Sheridan and Brian Quinn.
“In 2007, forty-nine people were brutally torn to pieces in Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp. Over the past decade, lone survivor Andrew Yong’s claims that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the horrific massacre have been met with great controversy, but when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Yong must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past.”
