Fans are already drooling over next year’s Halloween. Today, we have some exciting casting news.
Tracking Board is reporting that ‘Blue Blood’s’ Andi Matichak has been cast as the film’s young lead and will star alongside Judy Greer and Jamie Lee Curtis who will be reprising her role as Laurie Strode. Matichak is believed to be playing Greer’s daughter and Curtis’ granddaughter.
Directed by Gordon Green, who co-wrote the film with Danny McBride, the film follows Laurie Strode who will have her final confrontation with her brother Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her all her life.
The film was scored by John Carpenter who serves as executive producer along with Malek Akkad, and Jason Blum. Green Danny McBride will executive produce under their Rough House Pictures banner.
Michael Myers returns home on October 19, 2018.
