‘The Grudge’ Reboot Arriving Next Summer



The new The Grudge reboot now has a summer release date. Nicolas Pesce, the filmmaker behind 2016’s The Eyes of My Mother, wrote the latest version of the script penned by Jeff Buhler.
Andrea Riseborough, Demian Bichir, John Cho, and horror icon Lin Shaye are starring in the remake of the 2004 film which was a remake itself of Japan’s Ju-On (2002). It will begin filming the May in Winnipeg.
Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, Nathan Kahane, Erin Westerman, Schuyler Weiss, Roy Lee, Doug Davison, John Middleton, and Andrew Pfeffer are producing.
The Grudge will arrive in theaters on August 16th, 2019.
