One of the best love to hate/hate to love characters that has ever starred on “The Walking Dead” will soon be back. I’m talking about is wife-seducing, badass Shane Walsh, played by Jon Bernthal who now stars in Netflix’s “Punisher”.

I know what you’re thinking, Shane died on the farm. But Bernthal has returned before, in season 3, during a hallucination scene. He’s coming back again for season 9.
Today, TV Line confirmed that Bernthal will be returning as Shane once again for one episode of this upcoming season. We expect it to be in some form of a flashback or hallucination since he’s officially dead on the series.
Season 9 is still months away and already a ton of bad news has already come to light, including that both Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan are leaving this season. The good news is that Norman Reedus has been offered a huge raise ($20 million) to take the lead.
