Set to make its world premiere at the Fantasia film festival, the first images have surfaced from Tales from the Hood 2, starring The Thing actor Keith David. David has taken over the role of Portifoy Simms, originally played by Clarence Williams III who passed away in 2012.
David stars alongside Bryan Batt, Alexandria DeBerry, Jay Huguley, Kendrick Cross, Andy Cohen, Martin Bats Bradford, Adian Lockett, Kenesha Washington, Cat Limket, Gunnar Anderson, Greg Tarzan Davis, Toney Chapman Steele, and more.
Written and directed by Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott, the anthology film features stories about lust, greed, pride, and politics told through tales with possessed psychics, demonic dolls, vengeful vixens, and ghosts.
Cundieff and Scott produce with Spike Lee serving as executive producer.
