Netflix’s new trailer for their horror series “Kingdom” is filled with undead killing action.
Set in South Korea’s medieval era known as the Joseon period (1392-1897), the series is written by Kim Eun-hee (Signal), based on his webcomic Land of the Gods. Kim Seong-hun (The Tunnel) will serve as director for the first season.
The official synopsis:
“In a kingdom defeated by corruption and famine, a mysterious plague spreads to turn those infected into monsters. The crown prince, framed for treason and desperate to save his people, sets out on a journey to unveil what evil lurks in the dark.”

Ji-hoon Ju, Doona Bae, Seung-ryong Ryu, Sang-ho Kim, Joon-ho Heo, Seok-ho Jeon, and Hun-yub Chu star.
“Kingdom” premieres on Netflix on January 25, 2019.
