Sharon Tate is featured in several upcoming films, including Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and another about Tate’s life, but the one we are here to talk about is Daniel Ferrand‘s controversial film The Haunting of Sharon Tate, starring Hilary Duff as the actress murdered by the Manson Family back in 1969.
“The film takes a look at the last days leading up to Tate’s murder from her point of view. The plot is inspired by an actual quote from Tate, from an interview published a year before her death, wherein she reveals having dreams about ghosts haunting her house and foreseeing her own death at the hands of a satanic cult.”
The Haunting of Sharon Tate also stars Jonathan Bennett, Lydia Hearst, Pawel Szajda, Ryan Cargill, Bella Popa, Fivel Stewart, and Tyler Johnson, with Ben Mellish playing the role of Charles Manson.
We can expect to see the film open in theaters in early to mid-2019.
