Last year we were introduced to Christine McConnell, a constantly snarky Frankenstein raccoon, a mummified cat, and a werewolf in the enchanting cooking series “The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell.” McConnell, a charming cross between Martha Stewart and Morticia Gomez, gave us lessons on dark themed treats and decor.

I’ll be honest, I thought the show was fantastic. Unfortunately, Netflix doesn’t feel the same way. The streaming service will not be renewing the series. McConnell took to Twitter to deliver a message to fans.

I‘m very sad to say, I’ve been told there won’t be another season of The Curious Creations. Thank you to everyone who watched and has supported the series. Thank you to Henson, Wilshire, Netflix, and the amazing people who made the show with me. I’m so grateful.”

Season one of the series is now streaming on Netflix.
