One of the horror films we’re most looking forward to next is Leigh Whannell‘s Universal Monster reboot of The Invisible Man, which he wrote and will direct.
Universal and Blumhouse are teaming up for the film which will hopefully put Universal’s Dark Universe back on track after The Mummy failed to please fans and critics back in 2017.
Last month we reported that “The Handmaid’s Tale” actress Elisabeth Moss was in negotiations to star. We can now confirm that the talented actress has now officially signed. Johnny Depp was originally attached but is no longer involved with the project.
In the original 1933 film, a scientist finds a way of becoming invisible, but in doing so, he becomes murderously insane. We’ve since seen the film rebooted and remade. It’s also inspired several films including 2000’s Hollow Man.
