Earlier today we reported that Amazon is bringing genre fans the new series “Truth Seekers” starring Nick Frost and Simon Pegg. We’ve just learned that Amazon will also be adapting Paul W.S. Anderson‘s sci-fi horror classic Event Horizon as a new original series.
Variety is reporting that Godzilla vs Kong’s Adam Wingard is set to executive produce and possibly direct. Wingard was also behind the hit horror movie You’re next and The Guest.
In the 1997 film, starring Sam Neill and Laurence Fishburne, a rescue crew investigates a spaceship that disappeared into a black hole and has now returned…with someone or something new on-board. Check out the classic’s trailer.
