Kate Bosworth and Natalie Martinez take a trip to Netflix’s “The I-Land” this September. The first teaser welcomes you to “The I-Land“, coming off like a horror version of “Lost.”

The mysterious new event series follows ten people who wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of how they arrived. As they et off to find a way back home, they soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the island’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must become their better selves or die as their worst.

Rumor has it that the series was inspired by the disastrous Fyre Festival 2017 music festival held on a remote island. When attendees showed up they found tents, little food and no concert featuring big-name musicians.

Alex Pettyfer, Ronald Peet, Kota Eberhardt, Kyle Schmid, Sibylla Deen, Giles Geary, Anthony Lee Medina, and Michele Veintimilla also star.

The seven-episode event premieres on Netflix on September 12, 2019.
