It’s been five years since Sin City: A Dame to Kill For premiered. Now, it looks like we are getting Sin City television series.

Legendary Television has sealed the deal with Frank Miller to turn Sin City into a television series. According to Deadline Robert Rodriguez is “close” to joining the project, Deadline reports.

“The deal on the table is for Legendary to guarantee a first season of the show, contingent on them setting it up with a network or streaming platform.”

“The deal with Miller also calls for a hard R animated series for a Sin City prequel based on Miller’s graphic novels.”

Robert Rodriguez co-directed 2005’s Sin City as well as its sequel along with Miller. It wouldn’t be a big surprise if both end up serving as executive producers as well as directors.

This is not the first time a “Sin City” series has come up. Back in 2017 Dimension was planning series with Glen Mazzara and Len Wiseman who was going to direct. The show never materialized. Following Miller regaining the rights last year Dimension’s series went on the backburner.
