If you’ve been losing sleep over the “town with no exit,” we have some good news and some bad news. The good news? You’re definitely getting answers. The bad news? The end is officially in sight.
MGM+ announced today—just days ahead of the Season 4 premiere on April 19—that its record-breaking sci-fi horror series “FROM” has been renewed for a fifth and final season. As the most-viewed series in the network’s history, it seems the “FROMily” has made enough noise to ensure this nightmare gets a proper conclusion. All good things must end.
The Road to the Finish Line
Showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Lost) and creators John Griffin and Jack Bender are ready to stop playing defense. In a joint statement, the trio promised that the final chapter means the mystery’s expiration date is set.
“Questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in-between.”
Production for the final season is slated to kick off later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a premiere expected in 2027.
The Tactical Prep: Your Season 4 Cheat Sheet
With Season 4 dropping this Sunday, binging the entire series in 72 hours is a tall order (and potentially hazardous to your mental health). To help you prepare, the creators have highlighted 10 essential episodes to revisit before the new chapter arrives.
| Season | Key Episodes | Why They Matter |
| Season 1 | 1, 7, 8 | The “Rules,” the talismans, and Boyd’s first dance with the forest. |
| Season 2 | 2, 6, 8, 10 | The “Melody,” the bus arrival, and Tabitha’s game-changing lighthouse leap. |
| Season 3 | 2, 4, 10 | The real-world bleed-over and the terrifying reveal of the Man in Yellow. |
What to look for: Keep your eyes on Victor’s drawings and the recurring “Yellow” thread. The creators hint that the game played in the town spans generations, and that the key to stopping it lies in the patterns of these specific episodes.
What’s Waiting in Season 4?
Starting Sunday, April 19, the line between the nightmare and reality becomes paper-thin. As Tabitha navigates the world, the town’s origins are beginning to bleed through. According to the teaser, the closer the residents get to the truth, the more the town pushes back.
Led by the incomparable Harold Perrineau and a massive ensemble cast, FROM continues to be the gold standard for high-stakes, “puzzle-box” horror.
Returning to face the forest is our favorite ensemble of” unwilling” residents, including Perrineau (interview), Catalina Sandino Moreno (interview), Eion Bailey (interview), Elizabeth Saunders (interview), Scott McCord (interview), Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, and Corteon Moore. Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Avery Konrad, and Nathan D. Simmons. Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, A.J. Simmons, Deborah Grover, Robert Joy, and Samantha Brown round out the cast.
The Bottom Line: We’re entering the endgame. Whether you’re a lore-hunter or just here for the jump scares, it’s time to hang your talisman and settle in. The road with the fallen tree is calling, and this time, it’s leading us toward a final destination.
