Things take a horrifying turn for the small-town in the trailer for Antlers, from producer Guillermo del Toro. In the trailer we see a teacher (Keri Russell) looking absolutely terrified, a town in the clutches of fear, and a young boy (Jeremy Thomas) collecting dead things to feed a mysterious monster lurking in the dark.

Directed by Scott Cooper and set in an Oregon village, the film also stars as Jesse Plemons, who is investigating the little boy’s secret. Graham Green, Amy Madigan, Scott Haze, and Rory Cochrane also star.

C. Henry Chaisson and Nick Antosca (“The Act”, “Channel Zero”) penned the script which is based on Antosca’s short story titled “The Quiet Boy.”

Fox Searchlight will unleash Antlers in theaters on April 17, 2020.
