When Netflix picked up “Lucifer,” they said we get a fifth season before saying goodbye to that handsome little devil. Now, TV Line is reporting that Netflix is currently in negotiations with Warner Bros. Television to continue the series beyond the fifth season.
It’s a bit of a surprise seeing that Netflix extended last season so that the series could wrap things up for fans. But hey, we aren’t complaining about the possibility of seeing the story continue.
“Lucifer” originally aired on FOX before being canceled due to a decline in ratings in the third season. Fans took to social media with #SaveLucifer. Thankfully, Netflix stepped in and ordered season 4.
