Matt Leal and Matt Festle (Hacked), have launched their Indiegogo Campaign for the upcoming creature feature Blood Beast.
Starring Lew Temple (“The Walking Dead”), Dave Sheridan (The Devil’s Rejects), and Sleepaway Camp scream queen Felissa Rose, in the film, when Gabe and his niece Piper are forced to move back to their old home, they slowly uncover the truth that the town has an ancient evil lurking in its Forest.
Shawn C. Phillips, Mike Ferguson, Alan Maxson, and Marion Moseley also star in the film which promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Leal’s approach and sources of inspiration are a combination of old and new, when
approaching Blood Beast visually and in scope, he pulls from classics like Suspiria, and Halloween as well as blending some of the style and tone in drama from newer horror works such as It Follows and Hereditary but creating an original story for horror fans in Blood Beast.
The IndieGoGo will have new perks as the campaign progresses including producer perks, being killed in the film, playing a cult member, plus some really unique surprises. With the Indiegogo campaign only beginning this past Friday, the campaign has already raised 77% of its $15,000 goal which is pretty impressive.
