Ahead of the December release of the Icelandic vampire movie Thirst, the new gore-filled, blood-drenched red band trailer has been unleashed.
Directed by Gaukur Úlfarsson and Steinþór Hróar Steinþórsson, the movie is set in “a small town where evil is lurking around and strange crimes and brutality frequently occur,” Bloody-Disgusting reports.
“Thirst follows Hulda, a woman who is suspected of being responsible for the death of her brother and is being investigated by the police. After being released from custody due to insufficient evidence, she has nowhere to turn to. Lingering around in the cold, she befriends an elderly man who turns out to be a 1,000-year old, single, and a gay vampire who brings her brother to life, leading to terrible consequences.”
Hjörtur Sævar Steinason, Ingvar E. Sigurdsson (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir, and Ólafía Hrönn Jónsdóttir (“Black Mirror”) star in this intense, action-packed flick.
Thirst sinks its teeth into Digital and DVD on December 1, 2020, in the US, from Uncork’d Entertainment.
