Friday the 13th is a date held dear by every horror fan. Sean S. Cunningham directed 1980’s Friday the 13th that starred Betsy Palmer, Adrienne King, Jeannine Taylor, Robbi Morgan, and Kevin Bacon. The movie centers on a group of camp counselors are stalked and murdered by an unknown assailant while trying to reopen a summer camp which was the site of a child’s drowning and a grisly double murder years before. The entire franchise consists of 12 films, a television series, novels, comic books, video games, and a ton of merchandise.
