A family’s outing turns into a terrifying nightmare in writer-director James Ashcroft‘s horror-thriller Coming Home in the Dark.
In the film, a family’s outing descends into terror when teacher Alan Hoaganraad, his wife Jill, and stepsons Maika and Jordon explore an isolated coastline. An unexpected meeting with a pair of drifters – the enigmatic psychopath Mandrake and his accomplice Tubs – thrusts the family into a nightmare after the duo kidnaps them and embarks on a road trip to hell.
Co-written by Eli Kent, Coming Home in the Dark stars Daniel Gillies, Erik Thomspon, Miriama McDowell, and Matthis Luafutu and is produced by Mike Minogue, Catherine Fitzgerald, and Desray Armstrong. James Ashcroft executive produces.
Coming Home in the Dark is out on Blu-ray and DVD on November 9, 2021, from Dark Sky Films.
