After screening at Sundance to rave reviews, the 19th-century werewolf period horror, Eight for Silver is finally getting a release this February or April (reports are conflicting) under the new title The Cursed. Those who headed to theaters to see Scream, got to see the trailer for The Cursed and took to social media to rave about it.

Hopefully, the trailer and release date will be available soon. In the meantime, here’s what you need to know.
Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl, The Predator) leads the cast in writer-director Sean Ellis‘ film, set in the 1800s. John McBride (Holbrook), a pathologist, visits a British village and agrees to help the Laurent family search for their missing child who may be the victim of a wolf attack. But McBride has another theory, that the creature is a manifestation of a gypsy curse, a werewolf.
Kelly Reilly (“Yellowstone”), Alistar Petrie (Star Wars: Rogue One), Roxane Duran (“Riviera”), and Nigel Betts (“Eastenders”) also star.
Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon produced the film on behalf of LD, which financed the production and will release the film.
To tide you over until we get the trailer, here’s a behind-the-scenes video about the film from the Sundance Institute.
