HBO Max has just unleashed the trailer for their upcoming limited post-apocalyptic series “DMZ“, based on the DC comic book created by Brian Wood and Riccardo Burchielli.
Rosario Dawson stars in the series that sees her character navigate a dangerous and distorted demilitarized zone, Manhattan while searching for her son that got lost during the evacuation. Dawson is known for her roles in films such as the Jay and Silent Bob reboot, Clerks lll, Sin City, and the film adaptation of the musical Rent. She is also starring in the upcoming Haunted Mansion movie.
Benjamin Bratt, Hoon Lee, Freddy Miyares, Jordan Preston Carter, Venus Ariel, Rey Gallegos, Jade Wu, Agam Darshi, Juani Feliz, Rutina Wesley, and Mamie Gummer round out the cast. Directors include Ava DuVernay (Selma, A Wrinkle in Time) and Ernest Dickerson (Demon Knight), who directed three episodes.
“DMZ” premieres on HBO Max on March 17, 2022.
