Nickelodeon has done well with their “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” series reboot, so it’s no surprise that another season, the third installment, has just been ordered.
The series reboot began in 2019, with “Are You Afraid of the Dark: Curse of the Shadows” following. The new season, Deadline reports is titled “Ghost Island” and will follow new characters whose vacation at an island resort takes a terrifying turn.
The cast includes Telci Huynh (Modern Love) as Kayla; Connor Sherry plays Max (The Devil You Know); Luca Padovan (“School of Rock the Musical”) as Leo, Dior Goodjohn (Head of the Class), Chance Hurstfield (A Million Little Things), with Julian Curtis (Wish Man) playing Stanley Crane, the hotel manager at the island resort. “Are You Afraid of the Dark: Ghost Island” will likely premiere later this year.
