Daedalic Entertainment and NACON have announced the unfortunate news that their upcoming game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be delayed “A few months” as they wish to take the time to polish the game and ensure a smooth launch. Fans who might be upset by this news should remember a wise quote from Gandalf The Gray, “A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.”
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum puts players in the role of the infamous Gollum as he sneaks through famous locations in Middle Earth like Mordor, Mirkwood, and The Mines of Moria. Players will have to use their platforming and stealth skills the get past enemies, some familiar and some new while also meeting familiar characters from the books.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum‘s new release date will be announced later but the game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
