Peacock has just announced that development has begun on a new supernatural series, “St. Donatus,” from director Richard Shepard (The Perfection), who co-created the series along with Eric Charmelo (“Supernatural”, “The Ringer) and Nicole Snyder, (“Supernatural,” The Ringer”)
Deadline reports that “St. Donatus is about a small town in Iowa with a dark secret. An unwitting family, relocating from Brooklyn, moved into a newly-renovated farmhouse on the outskirts of town. When the family starts experiencing unsettling occurrences, it brings them closer to the town’s secret… and the very thing trapped in their cellar.”
Charmelo and Snyder will executive produce “St. Donatus” along with Hayes, Milliner, and Shepard, Deadline reports. Universal TV is behind the series. There has been no word yet about who will star. But we’ll keep you posted.
