It’s going to be a big year for fans of the franchise! Not only is a new movie, directed by Fede Alvarez, on the way, a new game, Aliens: Dark Descent, is coming, as is a new series from FX!
Sydney Chandler (Don’t Worry Darling) is set to lead the cast of the series, which will likely premiere sometime in 2024.
Noah Hawley (“Fargo,” “Legion”) is the creator of the new series, which is being described as an “extension and reinvention.” FX has stated, “Expect a scary thrill ride set not too far in the future here on Earth.”
Word is Ridley Scott, who directed the 1979 original and produced multiple movies of the franchise, will be producing the series.
