This September, director Bishal Dutta’s unnerving, fright-filled horror film It Lives Inside is set to open in theaters. After watching it and being extremely impressed, I spoke with actress Betty Gabriel, who plays the role of Joyce.
It Lives Inside, which will leave you wanting to sleep with the lights on, arrives in theaters on September 22, 2023. In the film, “Sam is desperate to fit in at school, rejecting her Indian culture and family to be like everyone else. When a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend, she must come to terms with her heritage to defeat it.”
Betty Gabriel has had many fantastic roles including in series like “Westworld,” but you will likely recognize her for her downright chilling and unforgettable performance as Georgina in Jordan Peele’s Get Out whose producers are behind It Lives Inside.
