Apple TV+ has lifted the veil on the “Constellation” trailer, the new series featuring eight episodes penned by Peter Harness (The War of the Worlds). It stars Noomi Rapace (Lamb) as Jo, an astronaut who returns to Earth bearing the scars of a catastrophic space incident. However, upon arriving, she discovers unsettling gaps in her memories. She then sets out on a relentless quest to discover the truth.
A stellar cast:
Emmy nominee Jonathan Banks (“Breaking Bad”) also stars in the series. The supporting cast includes James D’Arcy (Oppenheimer), Julian Looman (Emily in Paris), William Catlett (A Thousand and One), Barbara Sukowa (Voyager), and Rosie and Davina Coleman.
Directors include Emmy Award winner Michelle MacLaren (“Breaking Bad”), Oscar nominee Oliver Hirschbiegel (“Downfall,” “The Experiment”), and Oscar nominee Joseph Cedar (“Footnote,” “Our Boys”).
From Turbine Studios, “Constellation” is executive produced by David Tanner, Tracey Scoffield, Caroline Bejo, Simon Arnal, Carole Scotta, and Justin Thomson. MacLaren takes the director’s reins for the initial two episodes while serving as executive producer alongside Rebecca Hobbs and co-executive producer Jahan Lopes for MacLaren Entertainment.
