Damon Herriman, known for his roles in series like “Justified” and as Charles Manson in “Mindhunter,” has joined the cast of “The Bondsman,” Blumhouse Television’s upcoming supernatural horror series.
A Ton of Talent
The series features a ton of talent. Herriman joins the already impressive cast that includes Kevin Bacon (Tremors), Jennifer Nettles (Exorcist: Believer), Beth Grant (Donnie Darko), Maxwell Jenkins (Lost in Space), and Jolene Purdy (“The White Lotus”).
“The Bondsman” was created by and is executive produced by Grainger David. “Carnival Row’s” Erik Oleson serves as the showrunner.
The Story
The series centers around Hub Halloran (Bacon). He’s a backwoods bounty hunter who comes back from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, love, and a nearly-forgotten musical career — only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist, reads the logline.
Herriman will play Lucky. Lucky is “the owner of a successful country music club, who is in a relationship with Maryanne (Nettles).” Grant will play the mother of Bacon’s Hub Halloran. Jenkins and Purdy portray the respective roles of Hub’s sons, Cade and Midge. Midge is described as someone who can hold her ground in a male-dominated world. Midge may look unassuming, but she’s not.
Coming to Prime
“The Bondsman” has found a home at Prime Video. While the premiere date has not been announced, you can assume it won’t likely debut until 2025. We’ll keep you posted.
