Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios, behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey and its upcoming sequel, are expanding their world of horror movies. Get ready for “The Twisted Childhood Universe.” This chilling cinematic universe will reimagine classic children’s characters as monstrous threats, ruining your childhood forever. The announcement came during our interview with Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Blood and Honey 2 star Scott Chambers.
Monsters Unite
Previously announced standalone films like Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, and Pinocchio Unstrung will be joined by new characters like Sleeping Beauty, The Mad Hatter, and Rabbit from Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. Be sure to keep an eye out. All of the standalone films will contain hints and easter eggs towards this epic crossover event.
The culmination of this universe will begin with the 2025 film Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble. These horrifying characters unite to take down the world. Drawing inspiration from films like Freddy vs. Jason and The Avengers, the creators envision a monstrous team-up with shocking and bloody consequences and a ton of brutal kills.
Across the Universe
Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Scott Chambers will direct the upcoming “Twisted Childhood Universe” films, as well as other filmmakers. Scott Chambers will also be reprising his role as Christopher Robin from Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. Other characters include Megan Placto as Wendy and Roxanne McKee as Xanan. Stuart Alson and Nicole Holland will produce with Jagged Edge and ITN Studios.
