Jetting off with a strange billionaire to party with his friends on a private island? What’s the worst that can happen? A lot, at least according to the new trailer for the psychological black comedy-thriller Blink Twice from director Zoë Kravitz.

A Dream Vacation Turns Sinister

The film follows Frida (played by Naomi Ackie), a captivating cocktail waitress who catches the eye of tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) at a charity gala. Smitten, Slater whisks Frida away on a luxurious vacation to his private island paradise. Initially, it’s everything a dream getaway should be – sun-drenched days, wild nights, and the company of an attractive billionaire and his entourage.

However, as the idyllic vacation unfolds, a dark undercurrent emerges. Strange occurrences and unsettling vibes disrupt the carefree atmosphere. Frida, increasingly suspicious, starts to question the truth behind this seemingly perfect island paradise. Is there something sinister at play?

A Gripping Mystery with Star Power

Blink Twice boasts a talented cast and crew. Kravitz, who not only directs but also co-wrote the screenplay with E.T. Feigenbaum, brings a fresh perspective to the psychological thriller genre. The chemistry between Ackie and Tatum promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The ensemble cast is massive. It’s filled with stars like Kyle MacLachlan, Adria Arjona, Alia Shawkat, Geena Davis, Haley Joel Osment, Christian Slater, Simon Rex, and more.
