The new explosive A Quiet Place: Day One trailer has finally landed for the highly anticipated prequel to the critically acclaimed A Quiet Place franchise ahead of its summer premiere in theaters nationwide.
Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o (Us, Black Panther) takes center stage. Her character, Sam, struggles to find safety in the heart of the city, now a terrifying playground for the alien invaders. One thing is clear: She somehow has to find a way to escape the city.
Joining Nyong’o are “Stranger Things” star Joseph Quinn and Hereditary actor Alex Wolff. Djimon Hounsou returns as Henri, the enigmatic man from the Island in the last movie. Michael Sarnoski (Pig) directed and co-wrote the script with the franchise’s creator, John Krasinski.
The brilliant original film debuted in 2018 and featured the Abbott family struggling to survive aliens attracted to sound. The sequel, released in 2020, saw the Abbott family abandon their home in search of safety. Now, A Quiet Place: Day One promises a thrilling expansion of the franchise, revealing the invasion and how it all began while delivering a new story.
The must-see prequel, A Quiet Place: Day One, opens in theaters on June 28th.
