Tickets for one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, the prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, is thundering into IMAX theatres this month, and you can get your tickets now!
Starring Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa, Charlee Fraser, and Chris Hemsworth, Furiosa is from Academy Award-winning director/producer George Miller, who co-wrote the script with Nico Lathouris. Miller was also at the helm for Mad Max: Fury Road, which Furiosa serves as both a prequel and spin-off to. It marks the fifth film of the long-running post-apocalypse franchise that began in 1979.
In Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, as the world falls, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe, the villain from Mad Max. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
