Is the trailer real? The trailer is actually a work of fan art created by y KH Studio. The studio is known for their fan made trailers that can be easily be confused for the real thing. The New Chapter trailer was cleverly created using clips from the original films and some impressive AI generation. While there’s no official word on a sixth movie, Twilight fans do have something to sink their teeth into.
According to Variety, Lionsgate is developing an animated series based on the franchise. This news comes after whispers of a live-action TV series adaptation last year. Details are scarce, but Lionsgate’s Michael Burns confirmed the animated project during a recent conference, hinting at its potential to generate significant interest.
During a Q&A session at the Morgan Stanley media conference, Burns said, “We’re going to go out with the ‘Twilight’ series, an animated series, I think there’ll be a lot of interest in that.”
In case you were wondering, franchise stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner won’t be reprising their roles for the upcoming animated series.
