Brace yourselves for the return of the unnervingly creepy Josef. Netflix’s hit found-footage horror franchise, Creep, is getting a chilling revival in the form of a brand new TV series aptly titled “The Creep Tales.”

The good news gets even better: the series welcomes back the creative minds behind the original films. Mark Duplass, who delivered a chilling performance as the enigmatic stalker Josef, returns as the star and co-creator alongside director Patrick Brice. Brice takes the helm once again, directing all episodes of the series. The team is further bolstered by Chris Donlon, editor and executive producer. The Duplass brothers (Mark and Jay) and Mel Eslyn also join the production team.

The Creep Tales” delves deeper into the unsettling world established in the movies. The official synopsis hints at a collection of unearthed videotapes, each holding a terrifying encounter. These “Creep Tapes” document Josef’s interactions with unsuspecting victims he lures under pretenses. Only to subject them to a day of psychological torment and relentless creepiness.

Mark Duplass himself took to Twitter to share a cryptic teaser video. The clip features the instantly recognizable image of Peachfuzz – Josef’s unsettling wolf mask persona – accompanied by the iconic “Also Sprach Zarathustra” from 2001: A Space Odyssey. This short but chilling message will send shivers down the spines of fans eagerly awaiting the series.

An official release date and the complete cast list haven’t been revealed yet. We’ll keep you posted. One thing’s for sure – horror fans won’t want to miss out on seeing who becomes Josef’s next unfortunate targets in “The Creep Tales.”

In the meantime, revisit the chilling originals – both Creep and Creep 2 are currently streaming on Netflix. And keep an eye out for further updates on “The Creep Tales” – it promises to be a must-watch for horror fans everywhere.
