Fans of the chilling horror series “From” can rejoice! We’ve got an update on the series thanks to a recent social media update from star Harold Perrineau, who discussed the series in our interview from last season.
“From” first premiered in 2022 on MGM+ (formerly Epix). It follows a group of strangers trapped in a nightmarish town. They struggle to survive the strange occurrences within the town and the terrifying creatures that emerge when the sun sets. The series boasts a talented cast, including Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, and David Alpay.
Shortly after the conclusion of season 2 in 2023, “From” was greenlit for a third season. While an initial announcement placed its release sometime in the Fall of 2024, Perrineau’s recent post offers a more specific timeframe.
Perrineau’s update confirms that season 3 will premiere in “early fall.” This narrows the broad Fall 2024 window, suggesting a release date sometime in September or October 2024. For television purposes, the fall season typically runs from September to December. Therefore, “early fall” most likely indicates a release within the first half of the season rather than a November or December premiere.

Filming for season 3 began in December of 2023. The first trailer dropped in Spring 2024, coinciding with the initial Fall 2024 announcement. The trailer on the show’s official social media page left fans pondering the cryptic question, “Are you strong enough?”
With Perrineau’s update, fans can channel their inner strength for just a few more months until “early fall” arrives and “From” returns with thrills and chills for season 3.
Seasons 1 and 2 of “From” are currently available to stream on MGM+ (formerly Epix). Be sure to check out our interviews with the cast.
