Paramount+ has unveiled the first look for its highly anticipated film, Apartment 7A. Set to premiere this September, this chilling film is a prequel to the iconic horror classic Rosemary’s Baby. It delves into the sinister secrets of the infamous Bramford building before Rosemary Woodhouse ever moved in.

Julia Garner (“Ozark”) stars as Terry Gionoffrio, an aspiring dancer whose dreams of stardom are shattered by a tragic injury. As she is drawn into the glamorous world of the Bramford, she finds herself under the wing of a wealthy and enigmatic couple, played by Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally. As her career begins to take off, Terry soon realizes that the price of success might be far greater than she ever imagined.

Joining Garner is a talented ensemble that includes Jim Sturgess, Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosy McEwen, and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. Directed by Natalie Erika James (Relic), known for her atmospheric horror, the film promises a chilling exploration of the dark underbelly of glamorous 1960s New York City.

Apartment 7A will be part of Paramount+’s annual haunting Peak Screaming collection, joining a lineup of thrilling horror Halloween content.

In Rosemary’s Baby, Mia Farrow stars as a young wife hoping to become a mother. Her husband (John Cassavetes), an actor, suddenly becomes a smashing success. However, it comes at a horrible cost.

Prepare to be drawn into the shadows of the Bramford building. Apartment 7A premieres on Paramount+ on September 27, 2024. In the meantime, watch Rosemary’s Baby, which is available on the streaming service.
