The Anne Rice Universe continues to expand. As SDCC continues, so does the arrival of news. One announcement was that the series “The Mayfair Witches” will return early in 2025 with its highly anticipated second season. But that’s not all. During the panel, new and returning cast members were announced, and the first look and teaser were shared.
Based on Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches, season two of Mayfair Witches continues the journey of Rowan Mayfair (Alexandra Daddario) after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher (Jack Huston). She is determined to understand what he has become – human or monster? – and to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer, but when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her desires and fight to protect her family.
New cast members include Callan McAuliffe (The Duel) as Abel Mayfair, Franka Potente (The Bourne Identity) as Annamieke, and Ian Pirie (Halo, The English) as Ian Mayfair.
The premiere date should be announced soon. In the meantime, watch season one of “The Mayfair Witches” now on AMC+.
