Terror Films Releasing has announced its first original production, the revenge horror film Restitution. The film, produced in collaboration with The Ninth House, marks a significant milestone for the indie genre distributor since its launch in 2016.
Directed by Danny Draven (Patient Seven, Bad CGI Gator) and written by Mark Allen (Early Grave), Restitution tells the harrowing story of Mia Wagner (Coél Mahal), a woman haunted by the brutal murder of her family as a child. When the perpetrator is released from prison on a technicality, Mia is forced to take justice into her own hands.
The thriller boasts a talented cast, including Chris Gann, James Black, and Jonathan Shores.
Restitution is a tale of vengeance and its destructive consequences,” said director Danny Draven. “We’re excited to bring this intense and disturbing story to audiences.”
Autumn Federici, James Black, and Jake Helgren produced the film for The Ninth House. Terror Films’ Joe Dain and Jim Klock oversee the project.
Restitution will be available across multiple platforms from Terror Films on October 4th, 2024, including Amazon, Tubi TV, Apple TV, Chilling, Kings of Horror, and more.
