Comic fans already know the name Steven DeKnight; he was the showrunner for Netflix’s incredible “Daredevil” series. Now, DeKnight has just released his comic debut, Beneath, which also happens to be his first horror project. He sits down with us for an interview, disguising the comic and his past and present projects.
The story centers on Deputy Sheriff Jess Delgado as she transports the sole survivor of a mysterious attack to a soon-to-be-closed immigration detention center. When terrifying creatures emerge from the depths of the earth, Delgado must unite the disparate groups within the facility to survive the night.
Beneath, featuring Michael Gaydos’s haunting art, is now out from Comixology Originals. You can get your digital copy now from Comixology or Amazon Prime.
