After nearly a decade, the iconic horror franchise Final Destination is set to return with a bang. The sixth installment, Final Destination: Bloodlines, has now been confirmed for a theatrical release, including IMAX screenings. A home release will follow.
The long-awaited sequel, directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, promises a fresh take. It is shaping up to be a thrilling addition to the franchise.
Creator Jeffrey Reddick has teased that Final Destination 6 will explore a new dimension of the franchise and offer fans a unique and chilling experience. Specific details remain shrouded in mystery, but Reddick’s comments suggest a departure from the established formula, promising to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
“This film dives into the film in such a unique way that it attacks it from a different angle so you don’t feel like, ‘Oh, there’s an amazing setup, and then there’s gonna be one wrinkle that can potentially save you, all that you have to kind of make a moral choice about or do to solve it.’ There’s an expansion of the universe that – I’m being so careful,” Reddick has teased.

Anticipation builds for Final Destination 6: Bloodlines as it approaches its 2025 release. Fans can expect a fresh wave of terror as Death once again claims its victims in brutal, twisted new ways. And we can’t wait for it! Who knows, maybe we get another death scene that will scar us for life the way the log truck accident did. I still refuse to ride behind one.
While you wait for Final Destination 6: Bloodlines, you can now watch Final Destination 5 on Apple TV, Prime Video, and Spectrum. Here’s a look back at its trailer.
